In all of my small amount of years, I’ve started to think that confidence is the key to success.

But how do you achieve confidence?

My theory is that the best way to be confident is to pretend you’re confident. It sounds odd, but by pretending, you can almost convince yourself that you know what you’re doing.

You have to realize that not everything is as big as it seems. With that, you can start small – start answering questions in class, volunteer more in projects, start speaking up as often as you can. If you keep doing that, even if you fail, you can work yourself up to being more confident.

At least that’s what I’m doing.
